The Lithuanians - Stories - Pasakos - Russian Agression - What If?

The time has come to relate stories - pasakos that become part of life experiences. Stories that should be told or they will be lost forever.

Man's inhumanity to man has not ended and may continue. But stories of outrageous human behavior must be told over and over.

.

Few realize the unique untold stories of Soviet brutality and Russian inhuman behavior. They got away with it because of "Bigness" and being on the "Winning Side."

.

The Russians have made an industry out of inhuman behavior and have again demonstrated what they are capable of by testing Democracies and their resolve by invading a sovereign nation "Georgia." YES, invading a sovereign nation - think of it.

.

Can you image what would happen if Russia invaded another part of another country on the pretext that Russians [Russian decent] have been mistreated. Pretext, does not give another nation the right to invade the sovereign territory of another nation. Pretext, when a "Dream" within an aggressor nation is just that a "Dream" - something dreamt up to justify invasion and takeover. for justification.

Hitler and Stain used these dreams prior to World war two to invade neighboring countries with the intent of dividing the world. These acts of aggression were appeased by the West and continued appeasement led to World War II. What a mistake back then. What a mistake if repeated again.

.

So, we make another mistake now. NO, Russia flexed its muscle on Georgia. The USA stood up to this aggression. Where was Europe with resolve? Was this enough?

.

The question was asked. If Georgia was part of NATO or EU and was invaded by a neighbor would NATO or EU go to war?

.

The answer is YES! And the reality is the it may never happen. The possibility of this response would act as a deterrent. But a deterrent is needed. A potential aggressor should be aware of the consequences.

.

Certain Politicians and NEWS media expressed disdain to this when a candidate in the US was asked this question about invasion and the response. The answer was correct - the question was a "tricky What If." But, the answer was correct. And What ifs have measured deterrents and measured response.

.

So, lets try another example:

What if this invasion by Russia was into another Country, another State, another region with a population of Russians or those of Russian decent. Another Pretext?

.

What should be the reaction? What should be done?

If Russia crossed a 30 - 60 mile body of water - and invaded on a "Pretext," same as George, - Alaska.

.

What would the Politicians reaction be, the Media?

.

- What about this "What If?"

.

.

What about "Antanas - Survivor out of Siberia" - a US Citizen.?"
