Kai maldele sukalbejo, (After finishing the prayer,)
Ji veideli prausti ejo, (She went to wash her face)
Juk katyte irgi prausia (Why the kitty also washes)
Savo nosi, savo ausi (It's nose, it's ear)
* Išsivalo dantukus (Bushes little teeth)
* Baltus baltus ir sveikus (White, white and sound)
* Iš paloves traukia bata (From beneath the bed, pulls a shoe)
* Va! ir kita rankoj krato (Va! And the other hand shakes)
Begs per gatve tuku tuku (Runs up the street tuku tuku)
Su švaria pora batuku, (With a shining pair of shoes)
Ir pamato veidrodely,
(And sees in the mirror)
Kad plaukai jau susivele (That the hair is already messy )
* Ak! Aš dar nesušukuota (Oh! I haven't combed my hair)
* Juk atrodyčiau kaip šluota! (Why I look just like a broom!)
* Ima i rankas šukas, (Takes in hand a comb)

Greitai bega prie mamos( Quickly runs to mother)
Kad išimtu iš spintos ( To remove from the closet)
Drabuželi švaru švaru (The clothing clean, clean)

* Tevus sveikina linksma ( Greets her parents happily)
* Štai teveliai mano brangus (Here dear parents,)
* Aš visai jau gatava (I'm now all ready)
Pusryčiu Birute siekia (Birute reaches for her breakfast)
Užsitepus duonos rieke(A buttered slice of bread)
Valgo, kramto taip rimtai (Eats, chews so deliberatly)
