.Interview with Raimundas Palaitis, Minister of Internal Affairs, dealing with assembly process, obtaining permits and rules - laws of assembly.
.Also, Mr Palaitis touched upon the January 16 protest [Mitingas] where individuals got our of hand and how they were dealt with. There is a special professional police unit trained to deal with violence, organized and spontaneous violence. Cameras are used to film events and to verify claims made by protesters and Innocent bystanders.
.There is an element present that seems to look for events in which to participate in, not in peaceful demonstration but in violence, rock throwing, breaking windows and general hooliganism. This is a new phenomenon reaching Lithuania.
