The Lithuanians: Lithuanian Language Lessons - Learn the "Oldest Living Language" Really

Many years ago many attended Saturday School, Šeštadieninė Mokykla to learn the Lithuanian language, history, culture and music. But many didn't have the opportunity for various reasons. Or some have a new found interest in the language and the people. Now, this site is attempting to bring, in a small way, that Lietuvybė - that Lithuanian spirit, to those who seek it.

This presentation started in 2001 and consists of simple sentences, phrases and words in English with Lithuanian translation and some links to audio.

This effort was the beginning, the first step toward building a unique Lithuanian Resourse. Visit Šeštadieninė Mokykla -Saturday School  at our website LANGUAGE LESSONS tab and see what is there.

This effort relys on outside support to stay on the Internet, since there is no private or governmental funding, just donations or Subscriptions of Support.  Have you benefitted from this site? Add a little support to keep it running.

The text is Beginners Lithuanian and the three books in one Lithuanian Dictionary . Start your Language learning for next year, and come back for the audio at our website. Become a Member Supporter for less than 20 cents a day and feel good about your Journey ahead. What a language course at your own pace, on demand.
