On January 13, 1991 During a crack-down, Soviet troops kill 13 unarmed civilians in Vilnius; several are crushed to death under tanks. Here is a documentary film of the "January Battle" - "Sausio Musis"  with The Defenders of Freedom [unarmed civilians vs tanks to gun butts], The Lithuanians, a History full of efforts to be Free, and to keep Free. These efforts were not always successful. But The Lithuanians never quit.
