Boston's Stuart Street Playhouse

May 1, 2011, 4 - 8:00 pm

On May 1st, 2011, the community is invited to a reception and special screening of "The Soviet Story" at the Stuart Street Playhouse in Boston to raise funds for victims of the toxic waste reservoir rupture in Hungary. A legacy of its communist past, it is Hungary’s worst ecological disaster.

Dear friends in the Baltic-American community… We are asking you to please help spread the word of this event in Boston on May 1st.

The film, which is graphic and highlights Soviet atrocities (some newly discovered) is not suitable for small children. In 2008 the President of Latvia, Valdis Zatlers awarded the director of the film, Edvins Snore with the Order of the Three Stars.
