Senelis Saltis ir Vasara - Santa Claus and Summer
A must see Holiday Special. Outstanding story in the Lithuanian language from the 1950 - 1960 period of How Santa Claus found out about Summer and the little children invited him to return and see what Summer is like. Excellent video. Outstanding graphics. Language should not be a barrier.
Senelis Saltis Ir Vasara Removed explains why this Jewel of Lithuanian animation had to be removed from YouTube. It is sad that a video that entertained Lithuanians during the Soviet ocupation had to be removed because the Russians wanted to retain possession of the Lithuanian version of this film. It had nothing to do with a disgruntled college student from Chicago [ tom4stream] who did not know of the arrangement with LRT these many years..
