The Lithuanians: Getting Around - Mobility with Family
Well, I'm back from a few days vacation with family.
While away I rented a scooter for mobility. It is quite difficult for me to take long walks. I run out of breath and have to sit down, however, I can't always find someplace to sit. This was great to be able to keep up with family and spend the entire vacation with them. Before I had to sit and wait for their return or stay home.
The scooter I rented solved the mobility question, but would be far to expensive to purchase to have around as a tool at home.
I do take care of my yard with spurts of working and a sit down with a bottle of water. However, I can only do this at cooler times of the day.
Anyway, I met a couple from Maine who had a unique scooter. They let me try it and explained the portability of this unit. I gasped with joy when then mentioned the price. This would be just the tool to get me around at home I could now go shopping again, run errands, and even visit neighbors that are up to several miles from my home.
This is the "Pride Go-Go Ultra X - 3 Wheel"
I will tell you how this works out when I get to take it out on my own.
Having mobility is quite important to me - just like being able to share other things I do.
